Summer time must be absolutely magical for children.
I'm so old I can hardly remember.
You get to eat outside in the front yard every single night.
You can jump on the trampoline. With the sprinklers on.
No one cares if you wear your swimming suit all day long.
There's dirt to play in, bugs to catch, and Popsicles to eat.
You get to play in the pool. And squirt your sister. And mom.
You can run around barefoot in the grass.
And you get to stay up WAY past your bedtime. Even if it's just because your mom and dad were too busy enjoying the summer magic themselves and lost track of what time it was.
